Do what you love, love what you do – Ishanki Tiwari @ishankitiwari
Ishanki Tiwari @ishankitiwari always says finding a passion is great, but turning your passion into a profession is the best decision you’ll ever make. When you do what you love, you never work a day.
Ishanki Tiwari, a beauty, lifestyle, and fashion Content Creator and Blogger from Delhi, kicked off the typical 9-5 job and took up full-time content creation straight out of college because she wanted to create magic; she wanted to do something that she truly loves!
In 2018, when most of her classmates were looking for placements, Ishanki decided to do something of her own in the creative space. Like most content creators, she randomly started creating content on topics like the effortless everyday style and achievable makeup looks. She gave a little sneak peek of her life through Instagram and Youtube.
The initial days are always the hardest because you’re trying something new, but they are also very important, as it’s when God’s testing you! The time between 2018 – 2019 was a bit troublesome for Ishanki, but that did not stop her from doing what she wanted.
In 2019, all of her hard work finally started to pay off. Instagram started doing great, and YouTube followed. She started creating relatable content, which was much appreciated by her close friends, family & her audience. Her first brand collaboration was in 2018, around June, which was a Barter deal. Till today, she has collaborated with more than 400 brands, a few of which are Amazon, WOW Skin Science, Mamaearth, Colgate, DHC – Belif, Braun, Palmolive, Urban Company, Instagram Reels, Nivea, Anytime Fitness, Oven Story, Oriflame, Lenskart, Kiko Milano, Reequil, Nike, New U, Mcaffeine, Bajaj Finserv, Myglamm, Daniel Wellington, Popxo, travel companies and properties & many more.
Ishanki Tiwari received her first-ever Best Female Beauty Content Creator award in 2021 and was the happiest of all. But she also finds joy in the little things like brand recognition, people engagement, and appreciation because, unlike the corporates, bloggers don’t receive bonuses, appraisals, or holidays. For bloggers, these little bonuses add to their life and make their journey worthwhile.
When speaking of creative block, Ishanki said that it happens quite frequently when you’re out of ideas, and her way of dealing with a creative block is to take a break and enjoy her time with family and friends. On days when she’s highly motivated, energetic, and creatively active, she creates a lot of content and then utilizes it on days when she is short on ideas. She also stated that following and keeping up with the trends is the easiest way to deal with a creative block.
Her mantra for success is the law of attraction and affirmations. She keeps herself affirmed and only thinks positively! Ishanki also mentions how her life changed for the better after she started blogging, her horizons widened, and she had the opportunity to explore and experience many new things. Her personality changed and improved for good.
Her advice for new bloggers is to take baby steps and enjoy the journey because one cannot climb the ladder in one go! So go slow but keep going!
