Interviewing Successful Beauty And Fashion Blogger – Lavi Yadav @thatgirlin_town
In conversation with a mother who pursued her passion for beauty and fashion and turned it into a successful profession as a Blogger – Lavi Yadav @thatgirlin_town
1. Why and what made you blog, specifically the beauty or fashion industry?
I started in March 2019 as a beauty blogger because beauty interested me, and being a fashion student, I was always passionate about fashion. As a mother, I often felt
overwhelmed and unsure of what to do with my passion. Later, I realized that my love for fashion and beauty could be a source of inspiration and empowerment for others. Through my vlogs, I aim to inspire and educate people and positively impact their lives.
2. What did it feel like when you hit 50K?
It took two years of hard work to cross this milestone finally. When I hit 50k, it felt like a dream come true. From that day onwards, I have felt more motivated and internally powerful. Now no one can stop me from achieving my goals.
3. How many brands have you collaborated with, and which one is your favorite?
I have collaborated with over 100 brands like Maybelline, Lakme, Loreal, Sugar, Garnier, NYX, and many more. I love many, but my favorite is Papa Don’t Preach by Shubhika and Gaurav Gupta.

4. What were some of your struggles as a mother and blogger?
Initially, I faced many obstacles, like lack of time and resources, self-doubt, and the pressure to balance my responsibilities with my passion. One of the biggest challenges was finding time to create content and manage the blog consistently. The next was self-doubt because I often questioned my abilities and wondered if I was good enough to succeed as a beauty blogger. But with my family’s support and encouragement from followers, I overcame all of it and embraced my unique perspective and skills.
5. How should content creators deal with negative feedback or comments?
I have high temper issues, so the day I received my first negative comment, I was ready to give it back. But soon, I realized and remembered what my father once told me and stopped. He said, “Logo ka kaam hai kehna aur tumhara kaam hai unko kehne ke liye topic dena. Aisa kaam karo ke ek nahi puri duniya baat kare”. So say thank you, focus on the good, and move on!
6. What’s your Success Mantra?
Do what you love and be consistent. And most importantly, don’t listen to others; keep focusing on your work.
7. How has your journey been so far?
It’s been a rollercoaster ride; I face new challenges every day. But you know what? Now I love them! Beauty vlogging has allowed me to pursue my passion, express my creativity, share my ideas, and make a difference. Honestly, I can’t wait to see where this journey takes me.
 8. What advice would you like to give to the new bloggers and content creators?
Be consistent, work hard, and do what you want, but on your terms. And try building a strong online community where followers can connect and support each
other.
With this, we all are pumped up with motivation, aren’t we?
